Yahoo Falls is one of Kentucky’s most impressive natural attractions, located within the Daniel Boone National Forest near the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area. The waterfall plunges approximately 113 feet into a rocky basin beneath a dramatic sandstone overhang. A short hiking loop leads visitors to scenic overlooks and down steps toward the base, where the trail passes beneath the rock shelter. The waterfall is especially beautiful after rainfall in spring, while the surrounding woodland offers a peaceful setting for hiking, photography, and nature exploration.
